Private lessons can be a great way to get started, but we highly recommend our classroom experience for beginners. All of our classes are beginner-friendly and our instructors will make you feel comfortable and confident.

The heart and heartbeat of RHY. Based on the 26 postures of Bikram Yoga with a reverent interpretation and understanding of that practice, but without the breathing exercises or dogmatic approach.  

Brand new beginners and experienced practitioners alike will appreciate this steady, constant routine that incorporates all 26 postures in a slightly different order, plus a few of our special tweaks. It’s the perfect evolution of Bikram Yoga. Nobody does it like us, and nobody does it better than us!

Our version of VINYASA -- slow, mindful flow with enough consistency to keep you from getting lost, and enough variety to keep you from getting bored.  

The Hot Flow class incorporates significantly more strength and upper body work than our other classes, and is an unapologetically challenging and difficult practice. Beginners are welcome, but this class is not recommended if you are brand new to yoga, exercise, fitness, or recovering from illness or injury.

Deep-stretch floor work of the Warm Gentle class combines with just enough standing practice to develop strength and stamina. The Hot Gentle goes the extra step beyond the Warm class, making it the perfect practice for anyone who didn’t know they needed it. Gentle, deep, challenging and delicious.

Hot Gentle can be a great, first Hot class, especially for athletes, or it can serve as the perfect transition from Warm to Hot classes. And experienced Hot Yogis will be amazed at the difference this class will make in their practice!

Our most basic Hot Yoga class, and a great way to get started. Easy to follow, easy to understand. 

Offered once a week (Sundays at 12pm), Intro to Hot Yoga class is just like our regular Hot Yoga class, except that absolutely no intermediate or advanced options are given for any postures, and the structure of the class remains exactly the same each time. This gives the new student clear, easy to understand references without visual confusion from other students, and it gives experienced folks a great chance to revisit the basics, all while enjoying a strong, challenging practice!

A deep-stretch, floor-based practice -- no standing work -- with lots of hip, neck and shoulder- opening exercises. Draws from yin and restorative yoga styles, as well as the floor sequence from our Hot Yoga practices.

This is a wonderful practice for all ages (even children) and abilities, as a great introduction to heated yoga, or as a lifelong practice to improve flexibility, mobility, range of motion, breath awareness, and overall well-being.

Classic   26  &  2

The original Hot Yoga. Rebecca was trained in 2002 to teach Bikram yoga by Bikram himself: two grueling months of 16-hour days of yoga, lectures and more yoga. This is “World Class Bikram,” right here on Battleground Avenue.

On Sunday afternoons, we take it back to old school -- 26 postures, 2 breathing exercises, 105 degrees -- Bikram’s Beginning Yoga Class. This class is for all ages, all abilities, “never too late, never too old, never too sick to start over from the scratch.” (Bikram) You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll never be the same again.


This is one of our most popular classes, and Sign Up is highly recommended, as is arriving early.
